In Abingdon, MD, drivers are excited about the 2021 Yukon, which comes in standard or longbase versions. GMC offers two different V8 engines, along with a 3.0-liter turbodiesel. All are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and fuel economy stands at around 20 mpg on the highway for all combos.
The 2021 Yukon features a massive 10.2-inch touchscreen, 8.0-inch cluster display, and 9-speaker Bose audio system. A rear-seat entertainment system comes standard on the Denali trim, as does built-in navigation and a 14-speaker surround sound system. The GMC Pro Safety Plus Suite is a standard feature on all trim models.
The Yukon’s second and third rows of seating collapse to provide up to 72.6 or 122.9 cubic feet of cargo space, respectively. The vehicle’s roomy interior also features 12-way power front seats, leather upholstery, and heated and ventilated front seats. Its exterior includes signature lighting, premium wheels, and a hidden rear wiper.
J.D. Power and Associates previously rated the Yukon an 82/100 overall, and ranked it 88/100 when it comes to resale value. Kelley Blue Book rated it number one for Best Full-Size SUV Resale Value. The vehicle received a four-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
